All Americans Acknowledge The Works Of Judge Sri Srinivasan

Sri Srinivasan is a great American with a proclivity for excellence in all he does. And this seems to be confirmed through the Office of the Secretary of Defense Award for Excellence, he won in 2005, from the United States Department of Defense.

He is U.S. Deputy Solicitor General; a Judge from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit; in which he was confirmed overwhelmingly by the US Senate with a vote of 97 - 0 on May 23, 2013.

Born in February 23, 1967, he attended Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford Law School, and Stanford University. Besides his law degrees, he also has an MBA.

He grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. Graduated from Lawrence High School where he showed off his tremendous skills in Basketball, sharing the same court with future NBA star, Danny Manning.

Aside being a sports prodigy, he also showed to be prodigious in academics. He was a lecturer at Harvard Law School, where he co-taught a course on Supreme Court and appellate advocacy.

Sri Srinivasan worked tenaciously for the Bush administration; and in the corporate world, had done marvelous legal work for Enron, and the America's oil giant, Exxon.

He worked as a law clerk for United States Court of Appeals, for the Fourth Circuit Judge, J. Harvie Wilkinson III. And has also clerked for a Republican appointed Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

His wealth of experience is not in doubt. And that is why in legal, professional circles, he has been referred to as: "Smart," "A brilliant legal mind," "A wunderkind," "A legal luminary," "A constitutional scholar," "A trailblazer who personifies the best of America."  

He is also known to have come to the succor of helpless individuals. And as The Washington Post, put it: he had once, "Successfully defended a legal permanent resident against deportation over a minor drug offense," winning a 9 - 0 Supreme Court decision.

In view of all these, and many other numerous achievements, Senator Ted Cruz, unequivocally, stated, as regards the work, Sri Srinivasan, has done on behalf of America, and the American people, that he has done a "Very fine job." As quoted from Reuters.

Married to Carla Garrett, Sri Srinivasan is blessed with two children, Vikram and Maya, who are twins.

"World's Highest Bridge" Opens in China Over 1,850-Foot Gorge

The Beipanjiang Bridge took three years to build, cost more than $146.7 million dollars, and stretches to be 4,396 feet long. Its four-lane roadway sits nearly two thousand feet over the Beipan River, which it's named after, to connect the Yunnan and Guizhou provinces in southwest China,  People's Daily Online  reported. It surpassed the 1,837-foot-tall Sidu River Bridge for its world record title. We know what you're thinking: $146.7 million is cheap! And it is!
