Usually, at this time of the year, many people will come out with different kinds of expectations, a line of do's and don'ts, and other kinds of decisions in the hope of becoming a better person, improving their finances, relationships or other important areas of their lives.  This is about setting a real health goal and target. Health is wealth. And it is so important because you have to healthy and alive to make money or even enjoy meaningful relationships.  Every other achievement in life is attached to good health because, without it, no one will be able to carry out any other plans successfully.  It is true nobody calls down sicknesses upon themselves, but we all know certain behaviors help promote good health and longevity. Duterte (L), Davao city mayor in the 1980s, has claimed to have killed people [Reuters] Philippine leader says he will throw corrupt officials from a helicopter midair, adding that he did it to a man before. Rodrigo Duterte, the president of the Philippines, has threatened corrupt government officials by saying he would have thrown them off a flying helicopter, warning that he had personally carried out the action before and had no qualms about doing it again. The former prosecutor and governor said that he once hurled a Chinese man suspected of rape and murder out of a helicopter. "If you are corrupt, I will fetch you using a helicopter to Manila and I will throw you out. I have done this before. Why would I not do it again?" Decision to transfer the islands to Saudi Arabia was taken in April [Amr Abdallah Dalsh/Reuters] Cairo court yet to issue final ruling but agreement to transfer two islands already sent to parliament for ratification. Source: AlJazeera Egypt's government has approved a controversial deal to hand over two Red Sea islands to Saudi Arabia, according to state television. The agreement has been sent to parliament for ratification, according to reports on Thursday, despite a legal dispute in Egyptian courts over the plan. In June, the Higher Administrative Court  ruled  that the deal was void, saying Egyptian sovereignty over  Tiran and Sanafir  could not be ceded. The Egyptian government filed an appeal shortly afterwards. Earlier this month, an Egyptian state advisory body recommended that the Cairo court uphold the ruling that annulled the agreement. The court is due to issue its final verdict on January 16 and is not obliged to follow the advisory body's repor

The Beipanjiang Bridge took three years to build, cost more than $146.7 million dollars, and stretches to be 4,396 feet long. Its four-lane roadway sits nearly two thousand feet over the Beipan River, which it's named after, to connect the Yunnan and Guizhou provinces in southwest China,  People's Daily Online  reported. It surpassed the 1,837-foot-tall Sidu River Bridge for its world record title. We know what you're thinking: $146.7 million is cheap! And it is! After all, when the Golden Gate Bridge spanning San Francisco Bay was built in 1933 it cost $1.5 billion (in adjusted dollars), and the brand new New Bay Bridge, on the other side of town, ended up costing a whopping $6.7 billion when it was finished in 2013.
