The farm and the bar is owned by Doug and Heather Van Heerden who bought the place in 1989 and primed it to the attraction of thousands of tourists and visitors every year.

The Baobab Tree Bar is a natural architectural masterpiece.

When Baobab trees last up to a thousand years old, the begin on their own to hollow inside.

Thus this gigantic Sunland Baobab tree, lasting several thousand years now carved out in, itself, wonderful caverns and caves inside.




Today, the bar continues to amaze tourists and locals who troop to this natural wonder to be entertained inside the tree by day; and by night, it can harbor 20 overnight visitors in 5 chalets.
